CKH is accepting coach applications for Freeze Program

The CKH Coach and Player Development Committee is now accepting on-line applications for coaches interested in coaching Freeze Girls Hockey for the 2015-2016 season. It is our intent to field two full-season girl's hockey teams; each at appropriate competitive levels based upon player pool. Team formation will depend upon number of players at each age level, qualified coach and capable goaltending for level. This will be determined following girls evaluation skates late in March and first week in April (dates to be announced).

We also intend to field two supplemental girl teams; one being a U12 State bound ‘Q only’ team and second being supplemental U10/U12 team if we receive enough interest for each. The State bound U12 team will be a supplemental travel level team with roster being determined through tryout and player selection. The U10/U12 supplemental team will be a team comprised of all age eligible players interested in playing on an all-girls supplemental team.

Coach applications being accepted for the following Finger Lakes Freeze teams:

  • Older birth year full-season team (age and competitive level to be determined)
  • Younger birth year full-season team (age and competitive level to be determined)
  • Supplemental U12 State bound ‘Q only’ team
  • Supplemental U10/U12 team

For full consideration, please complete the application by Saturday, February 28th. Application can be found under 2015-16 Coaching Applications. Girls Coaching Application (select)

Please contact Craig Towne, CKH Girls Director, with any questions.

Freeze Girls Hockey Bring A Friend a BIG Success!

Great Hockey Fun - Freeze Players & Friends

What a great success! 46 girls consisting of CKH players and guest friends, ranging in age from 3 years old to 17 years old, came together on Wednesday, 2/18 to enjoy a fun hockey experience during winter break. Girls from all of our CKH Programs (RWB, House, Travel and Finger Lakes Freeze) joined in the fun by inviting one or more friends to participate in the Freeze Bring-A-Friend hockey event consisting of small area games and drills followed by donuts and hot chocolate.

Thank you to all the players and guests (friends), families, coaches, GCCC and staff, NYSAHA, and our great volunteers who made this a wonderful experience for all involved.

Midget Payment Plan Changes for next season

The board has recently agreed to change the Payment Plan due date for ALL MIDGET PLAYERS (house and travel) to October 1st of each season after receiving a request to do so from members of the Midget cohort.  We are communicating it now to allow our families to plan for and budget accordingly for next season.

Please be advised that if you have a Midget player next season, you may sign a payment agreement with the Knights for that player to extend your payment deadline to no later than October 1st.

The payment plan deadline for all other levels remains December 15th.

If you have both a Midget player in addition to other players in the association, and would like a payment agreement for more than one age level, you will need to sign a separate agreement for your Midget player reflecting the October 1st deadline.  The payment agreement may be modified to allow for signature on one form, but they are in fact separate agreements.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate ro respond to this posting/email

Regards,

CKH Board of Directors
